He received B. Eng., M.Eng., and D.Eng. degrees from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1993, 1995, 1998, respectively. He has been an Associate Professor of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology. His field of research is the electromagnetic wave engineering, the wave propagation, the ultrasonics engineering, and the educational engineering. He has received the young scientist award of the 27th symposium on ultrasonic electronics, 2007.
